DESIGN STORY:

The Tenon lounge chair embodies a blend of simplicity and precision. A solid oak structure, clean and robust, embraces a core of soft, cushioned curves, like an outer shell protecting a more delicate inside. A design that underlines the beauty of simplicity and the power within it.

Originally sketched in 2020, the composition follows an uncomplicated geometry made up by a series of wooden slats joined together using one of the most traditional and efficient woodworking joints, ‘mortise and tenon’. Combining different characters in a single seat, the chair is both strong and sturdy yet soft and graceful, and displays a powerful personality within its petite dimensions. Tenon provides high comfort and invites the user to recline on its abundantly padded seat and backrest, made from a specific combination of different foam layers.

NOMINATED AS BEST FURNITURE OF 2024:

The Tenon armchair was nominated for Furniture of the Year at the 2024 Design Awards by Denmark’s leading lifestyle magazines: Bo Bedre, Bolig Magasinet, and Scandinavian Living. The jury selected it among all new furniture products launched in 2024 by all Danish design brands.

Quick Ship versions are available in an estimated 1–2 weeks in the following combinations:

Made to Order options are available in a wide selection of fabrics across six categories, or using the customer’s own material (COM).

Estimated delivery time for made-to-order variants is 6–8 weeks.

CARE & CLEANING:

Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the chair regularly. For deeper cleaning, gently wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry it immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t damage the finish.
For upholstery care, refer to the textile manufacturer’s guidelines specific to your selected fabric.
