Bobo Made.com 2022 TENDER & CHUBBY Bobo was born to be a tender and adorable armchair, comfortable and bold in equal parts. A little chubby and generous in its proportions, Bobo aims to convey a certain tenderness with a fun character. MINIMAL CONNECTIONS An important detail of the chair is the joint of the three parts: the backrest, the seat and the armrest\/ leg. These elements are joined through tangential connections that touch in a minimal way, leaving a gentle space between them, which provides visual lightness and a characteristic detail. THE TUBULAR SHAPE Bobo was born out of a brief that suggested working with tubular shapes. This resulted in an exploration of the versatility of this form, aimed to underline its malleability. I employed this element to grow into legs first and then arms, becoming the main design feature.
