The Tenon Lounge Chair was nominated for the prestigious Design Awards 2024 in the category of Best Furniture of the Year. Presented by Bo Bedre, Boligmagasinet, and Scandinavian Living, the three major lifestyle magazines in Denmark, these renowned awards celebrate excellence in design and highlight some of the most innovative contributions to the field. The nominees were selected by the jury from among all furniture novelties launched in 2024 by all Danish design brands.
An Honorable Recognition.
This recognition marked an important milestone for Omayra, as the nomination places the Tenon Lounge Chair alongside works by some of today’s most renowned and influential creatives, including John Pawson, Norm Architects, Cecilie Manz, Erwan Bouroullec, BIG, and Anders Klem.
Her inclusion in such an inspiring group is both an honor and a confirmation of the growing reach of Omayra’s practice on the international stage.
The awards ceremony took place on the 30th of October 2024 in the Langelinie Pavilion in Copenhagen.
