CASTING FLUIDITY
Made from cast, recycled aluminium, the Oyster Wall Lamp was envisioned as a piece of jewellery for the home. Aiming to capture fluidity, the lamp was initially inspired by the alluring curves of an oyster-like formation.
LIGHT ON TEXTURE
A black patina has been applied to the aluminium, which keeps its raw surface from the casting process. A specially developed LED light source casts a soft, warm light onto the inner waves of the piece, reflecting on its imperfect surface, enhancing its strong materiality. The interplay between its delicate, curved shape and its raw surface creates a compelling contrast.
