THE TUBULAR WAY
Cyla was born out of a brief that suggested working with tubular shapes. This resulted in an exploration of the versatility of these forms, which aimed to underline its malleability.
A DRAWN PATH
The tube makes up the chair as a route that is drawn in space, like a path from beginning to end, becoming legs, backrest and seat as along the way.
PLUMP & PADDED
Cyla is a family of chair and bench whose soft, padded curves create generous volumes with a strong presence. Cyla is plump and fleshy, generous in its padding, which gives the seat that tender touch and that fun character, while making it extra comfortable.
